About this event

The Caspar Lecture is an IMB's annual event that honors Donald L. D. Caspar, whose seminal contributions established the principles of macromolecular symmetry and assembly that continue to shape modern structural biology.

Dr. Drennan is an internationally recognized leader in structural biology, whose pioneering work has transformed our understanding of metalloenzymes, radical chemistry, and reaction mechanisms involved in environmental processes and human health. Her research has had a profound impact on biochemistry, enzymology, and molecular biophysics. Beyond her scientific contributions, Dr. Drennan has made a lasting impact as an educator through her teaching and exceptional mentorship of students and trainees.
