- ➤ A LendingTree report finds that Tallahassee ranks No. 9 among metro areas for Black-owned businesses with a 7.6% share, well above the 4.2% national rate. The city will host the Fifth Annual Black Business Expo this weekend (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Moon) to support local entrepreneurs. Tallahassee Democrat
- ➤ Buc-ee's will add four new locations in Florida (including one near Capital Circle Northwest in Tallahassee) as part of its expansion; the Fort Pierce store is slated for 2027 and the Ocala store for 2028, while Tallahassee and Port Charlotte have no set dates yet. Tallahassee Democrat

- ➤ Woodville K-8 second graders in Tallahassee showcased their creativity today by drawing favorite weather scenes while meteorologist Jillian Preite visited Mrs. Brewton’s class — the project featured depictions of sunny days, rainbows, and stormy skies. ABC 27
- ➤ FSU officials changed Westcott Fountain hours on Feb. 26 after safety concerns, now keeping it open until 10 p.m. on Wednesdays and closing at 7 p.m. on other weeknights. Some students remain upset with the change — saying it could alter cherished traditions. FSU News
