- ➤ Florida State University celebrated its new James M. Seneff Honors Program cohort at a medaling ceremony at the President's House on Friday. - ➤ Leon School Board candidate Alva Smith, filing for her final term, presented data at Monday’s Capital Tiger Bay luncheon that showed a declining budget & falling student numbers, urging school consolidations and noting mixed results from a possible property tax increase to boost teacher pay.
