- ➤ Florida State University chemists have created a machine learning tool that can tell the chemical make-up of dried salt solutions from a photo with 99% accuracy. The tool uses robotics to prepare over 2,000 samples a day—making chemical analysis cheaper for space missions, law enforcement tests and hospital diagnostics. Florida State University

- ➤ Leon County government and Knight Creative Communities Institute unveiled three new crosswalks Tuesday in downtown Tallahassee+ the designs along Calhoun Street near College Avenue and Jefferson Street aimed to improve pedestrian safety and celebrate public art. WCTV
- ➤ Two astronauts from Boeing’s Starliner mission, Sunita Williams and Barry Butch Wilmore, splashed down Tuesday evening near Tallahassee using a SpaceX Dragon capsule after nearly 300 days in orbit. Their mission was extended due to technical issues with Starliner—causing a delay—before their return. Tallahassee Democrat
