- ➤ Tallahassee police were called to a shooting on the 2500 block of Texas Street in Southeast Tallahassee where they found a man who was shot and later died — the case remains active and is handled by the Violent Crimes Unit. ABC 27
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Tallahassee History Festival took place at Kleman Plaza Saturday, March 22, with dozens of local and out-of-town historical organizations sharing live performances and educational talks. Residents enjoyed a fife and drum performance led by Carl Vermilyea and heard about the Civil Rights Movement by Regina Joseph—Andy Hemmings also presented a life-size mastodon replica to highlight the area's diverse past. - ➤ On March 17th, FSU sent its third annual intellectual freedom survey to students and faculty to ask about their comfort in sharing political views.
