- ➤ According to AAA data from March 24, Florida gas prices dropped to $3.920 per gallon - below the national average of $3.977 while some states reported prices near $6 a gallon. Florida drivers enjoy lower costs as prices continue to decrease. Tallahassee Democrat
- ➤ Florida State University said the Savannah Bananas event at Doak Campbell Stadium generated about $10.1 million for the local economy and drew tens of thousands of fans, boosting hotels & restaurants and retail across the region.
