- ➤ FAMU baseball swept Alabama State in a three-game series while its softball team swept Bethune-Cookman, combining for nearly 60 hits over the weekend. The baseball team now stands at 12-14 and will face Prairie View A&M as the softball team improved to 19-14 and leads SWAC East. Tallahassee Democrat
- ➤ Florida State coach Lonni Alameda earned her 1,000th win when her softball team beat Clemson 7-3 on Sunday, March 29. The Seminoles will host a three-game ACC series against Notre Dame on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Seminole Softball Complex. Tallahassee Democrat
- ➤ Chris O'Kelley and Katie Sherron won the Springtime Tallahassee 10K near Cascades Park on Saturday, March 28. O'Kelley finished in 35:25 and Sherron in 39:32 while over 2,000 runners participated in the local race. Tallahassee Democrat
- ➤ Florida State baseball star Myles Bailey suffered a severe leg injury against Duke Saturday and was taken to hospital. The team now considers three candidates (Eli Putnam, Carter McCulley, and Kelvyn Paulino Jr) to fill the first baseman role. Tallahassee Democrat
