- ➤ On April 4, the FSU Flying High Circus held its sold-out spring matinee 'Tall Tales' at the Big Top, delighting families and student performers with flips & trapeze acts. The show marked the return of the beloved circus after a two-year closure. FSU News

- ➤ FAMU President Marva Johnson announced that Altony Lee III assumed the role of interim chief of staff on April 6 (having served as associate vice chancellor for Public Affairs) as former chief of staff Carmen Cummings-Martins returns to her earlier role. WCTV
- ➤ Tallahassee Collegiate Academy junior Esinam Agama will compete in the national Poetry Out Loud finals in Washington on April 28 — she is one of 55 students selected nationwide. The event will award a $20,000 prize and showcase her recitation skills. Tallahassee Democrat
- ➤ At Springwood Elementary, 75 first graders took part in the Books and Bucks program + a collaboration with Regions Bank to learn money management. Led by superhero Edward Clark Jr., interactive lessons help students learn to earn, save and spend wisely. ABC 27
- ➤ FSU celebrated graduate student excellence at the Alumni Center on Monday, Apr. 6 by awarding honors in national fellowships, research, and teaching.
