- ➤ On Saturday, April 12, families in Fort Braden will gather at the new Family Resource Center at the Scout House at the Fort Braden Community Center, established through a partnership between Children's Home Society, Children's Services Council and Leon County. After the ribbon cutting, children can enjoy bounce houses and arts and crafts while parents learn from programs on parenting support + job training + mental health counseling + financial literacy. - ➤ A Tallahassee man was charged with 101 felonies after his home was raided by the Leon County Sheriff's Office Tuesday, and officials ended operations of three illegal casinos in the area. During a March 26 city commission meeting, commissioners questioned the local police decision to work with federal immigration law enforcement. Tallahassee Reports

- ➤ At Tuesday night's meeting, Leon County commissioners voted 6-1 to pass an ordinance that prohibits physical contact between pedestrians and drivers in medians—aimed at boosting roadway safety and curbing panhandling.
