  • FSU Greek Life’s FSL Line Dance on March 27 broke records by raising over $500k for local groups — including FSU Victim Advocacy Program and Food for Thought Pantry. Sorority and fraternity chapters performed themed dances at the Civic Center, with Kappa Delta crowned champion.  FSU News

CRIME NEWS

  • Three men were sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty on charges for a 2019 ambush robbery and shooting—during which they fired 20 shots and killed 21-year-old Cleto Suram Laj—at a mobile home off Capital Circle Northwest.  Tallahassee Democrat

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Tallahassee city officials report that total crime incidents declined 40% as of February compared to last year — following a 20.1% drop in violent crimes and reflecting investments in public safety and community programs — and at today’s budget workshop they outlined plans to add 20 officers in the FY26 budget.  Tallahassee Reports

  • Florida State baseball defeated South Florida 19-0 on Tuesday when the No. 8 Seminoles scored 19 runs on 20 hits—Cal Fisher recorded four RBI and Alex Lodise added three—to secure the win. The Seminoles will face Virginia in a series starting Thursday at 7 p.m. and 2 p.m.  Tallahassee Democrat
