  • A shooting at Florida State University on Thursday left at least six people hospitalized—one in critical condition—as police took a suspect into custody and emergency services responded while the university canceled classes and events near the student union.  The Independent

  • Tallahassee police reported that 20-year-old FSU student Phoenix Ikner was taken into custody after a shooting on campus on Thursday that killed two and injured six — authorities said he used a weapon owned by his mother, a Leon County deputy.  The Independent
