- ➤ High fuel prices have forced FSU students to trim their budgets after regular gasoline climbed above $4 earlier this week. The surge comes from global Middle East tensions and seasonal fuel changes driving higher costs in Tallahassee. FSU News

- ➤ FSU President Richard McCullough asked the campus community to join in a moment of silence & reflection events on April 17 along Legacy Walk near the FSU letters. Reflection spaces were available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with flowers and opportunities to share messages. FOX 49
- ➤ On April 13, the Leon County School Board received a presentation on residential growth focused in the east, where large master-planned developments are set to add thousands of new homes. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Leon County has extended its burn ban until April 24 at 5 p.m. due to worsening drought and wildfire risk — officials will lift the ban only after fire experts verify it is safe. Tallahassee Democrat
