  • After the campus shooting on April 17 that killed two and injured six, FSU held a unity vigil on Langford Green on Friday at 5 p.m. where thousands of students, faculty, and local residents gathered to honor the victims & show support.  FSU News
  • FSU Strozier Library shooting survivor Ronny Ahmed, who was injured in the attack and later settled a lawsuit with FSU, said he felt angry after a gunman killed two and injured six on campus and stressed the need for education and listening to victims—he now leads Life Worth Leading to help underserved groups in Tallahassee.  Tallahassee Democrat
  • The Leon County Sheriff’s Office partnered with local faith leaders at Springfield Apartment Complex on Joe Louis Street on Saturday to reduce gun violence and support underserved youth in one of Tallahassee’s highest crime areas—local pastors including Joseph Davis plan to hold similar monthly events to address the root causes of crime.  WCTV

  • After a tragedy on April 17 that deeply affected the FSU community, classes and business operations will resume Monday, April 21 as campus life begins to recover.
