- ➤ A mass shooting at Florida State University’s Student Union on Thursday killed two and injured six—five by gunfire and one while fleeing—with the alleged 20-year-old shooter, Phoenix Ikner, wounded by officers and remaining in the hospital while all injured victims are stable and debates over gun control continue as the nearby legislature stays in session.
