- ➤ Gray Media has reached an agreement with DISH to restore local TV stations owned by Gray, including WCTV, effective immediately so Tallahassee viewers can once again enjoy news, weather & sports on their preferred lineup. WCTV

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ 18-year-old Demetria Coley became FSU College of Nursing’s youngest graduate on May 2 and will pursue NICU nursing after clinicals at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, crediting family support & early ambition for her success. FSU News
- ➤ Florida State University celebrated its spring 2026 graduating class Friday and Saturday at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, awarding over 8,900 degrees (including an honorary degree for alumna Sara Blakely). - ➤ Over 900 students earned degrees Saturday at Florida A&M University’s Al Lawson Center in Tallahassee, with ceremonies at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. that celebrated graduates and their families (spurring future academic dreams). WCTV
- ➤ The FSView announced its new 2026-2027 editor board, led by Justice Ulrich (a rising junior in finance) and Salette Cambra, to continue expanding FSU student news coverage. - ➤ Maclay’s girls tennis team, composed of underclassmen, went undefeated in regular season play by winning the City championship, district & regional tournaments. They reached the top eight at the state tournament in Orlando on May 2 and finished with a 17-1 record. Tallahassee Democrat
