  • Local schools and universities restored Canvas after a national cyberattack disrupted classes earlier this week; Tallahassee State College delayed its summer online classes to safeguard student data & local officials advised caution against phishing attempts.  Tallahassee Democrat
  • Students at Conley Elementary engaged their imaginations when meteorologist Jillian Preite visited the school in South Tallahassee and asked what they would choose to make it rain.   • Big Bend Hospice in Jefferson County is launching a Nutrition Shake Drive in Monticello from May 11 to June 11 to help hospice patients with Ensure, Boost, and Glucerna donations.   • FSU softball will face Virginia Tech in the ACC tournament championship game on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. EST at Palmer Park in Charlottesville.
