- ➤ Mary May released a new book that chronicles the history of Tallahassee's police department from 1826 to 1973 using original records from City Hall and insights from longtime officers (including Phil Kiracofe). - ➤ Two years after tornadoes hit on May 10, 2024, the Railroad Square Art District returned to full occupancy + the FSU Fly High Circus held its first post-storm performance on Oct. 17 last year in south Tallahassee. ABC 27

- ➤ Leon County Schools is exploring outside help to address rising costs, teacher vacancies and declining enrollment by inviting Caissa K-12, TPG Cultural Exchange and the Florida Educator Health Trust to present options at a board meeting today at 2 p.m. to stabilize the district's budget.
