- ➤ Two people were injured in a crash early Wednesday morning on West Tennessee Street as all eastbound lanes between Valencia Dr. — Ocala Rd were closed and police awaited a tow truck to clear one lane. WCTV
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Leon County grand jury indicted Phoenix Ikner on first-degree murder and attempted murder charges for the April 17 mass shooting at Florida State University that killed two and injured six while the report said a campus officer’s actions were lawful — Ikner was arrested on May 13 and is now held at Wakulla County Detention Facility. Tallahassee Democrat

- ➤ One year ago, tornadoes damaged the historic Railroad Depot—forcing the Challenger Learning Center to step in so the Tallahassee Film Society could resume its screenings. - ➤ In Florida, AAA said the average price for regular unleaded gas dropped to $2.92 a gallon on Monday—the lowest in 17 months—with prices ranging from $2.78 in some areas to $3.04 in others; trade war fears reduced fuel demand and easing tensions later pushed oil prices higher, which may cause gas costs to rise soon. Mumford Stadium in Baton Rouge with 127.5 points, as freshman Arayana Ladson earned Most Outstanding Track Performer and coach Garfield Ellenwood II was honored as Coach of the Year—this marks the program’s third SWAC title and they will next compete in the NCAA East Regionals from May 28 in Jacksonville. - ➤ Florida State men's golf won their second NCAA Regional title by scoring 29 under par over three days at Seminole Legacy Golf Course, dominating a field of fourteen teams by nine strokes.
