Starting June 2, local sponsors—including churches, camps, and school sites—will serve free meals on-site to children and teens 18 and under at over 50 Tallahassee locations.

The program, part of the National Summer Food Service Program and funded by the USDA, will offer balanced meals that include milk, grains, fruits, vegetables, and protein.

Sienna Lee Gardens will host its Grand Opening Blueberry Extravaganza on Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with live music, a new Mexican food truck, free craft brewery samples, raffle gift cards, and a Blueberry Ice Cream cart; the farm will extend its U-Pick hours (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) from Wednesday to Sunday to serve more visitors in Tallahassee.
