- ➤ Keyshawn Jones, 24, was arrested after he allegedly shot at a woman following an argument just after 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in Tallahassee — he now faces an attempted murder with a deadly weapon charge, police said. WCTV

- ➤ The University of West Florida Board of Trustees picked Manny Díaz Jr. as its temporary leader on Tuesday after President Martha Saunders said she would leave on May 14 — a move that has caused worry about the search for a long-term president. - ➤ NOAA predicts an above-average hurricane season with thirteen to nineteen named storms, so residents should prepare hurricane kits now with water, food, important documents, and supplies for children and pets.
