- ➤ Governor’s Square Mall reopened Tuesday morning after closing over the weekend because a burst water main shut down all stores except Dillard’s — Brookfield Properties said the broken water line caused the disruption. WCTV

- ➤ Grammy Award-winning T-Pain announced his TP20 tour and will play in Tallahassee on Oct. 17 at the Tucker Civic Center during FAMU homecoming. The tour marks his 20 years in music and will also visit cities such as Cleveland and New York City—inviting fans to join the celebration. Tallahassee Democrat

- ➤ A large plume of Saharan dust is heading toward Florida and will likely reach Tallahassee later this week—weather officials expect hazy skies, deep red sunsets, and minimal impact from Canadian wildfire smoke. - ➤ Family members and friends of more than 100 construction workers detained in an ICE raid at a Tallahassee job site say they are struggling to locate their loved ones as officials send detainees to facilities in Baker County, Miami and Texas—some already deported to Mexico while others remain unaccounted for. - ➤ Senate President Ben Albritton said the rural renaissance plan to boost health care, schools, roads and jobs in rural areas will be revived next year. After lawmakers started budget talks Tuesday, Senate spokeswoman Katie Betta said the plan did not pass this session — and ideas on tax cuts and property measures are still under review.
