- ➤ Leon High Choral Department will open Hairspray on June 26 at Leon High School with Gabriel Brown— a recent graduate who dreams of leading in lighting design— operating the light board. He will bring his theater tech experience to the production, which runs through July 6. Tallahassee Democrat
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Florida universities may raise out-of-state tuition by up to 10 percent this fall — with a further increase possible in fall — after the state Board of Governors voted on the proposed rule. - ➤ Alan Marshall, a trailblazing professor at Florida State University who led the MagLab’s FT-ICR Facility, died at age 81.
