GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Leon County's Children's Services Council approved a $10.5 million FY25-26 budget—keeping the millage rate at .03477 and funding $2.1 million to support an after-school program at risk of losing federal funds. • The Florida Supreme Court upheld the redistricting plan on Thursday—rejecting voting‐rights groups that argued the changes to Congressional District 5 violated the state Constitution.
