- ➤ Donna Adelson, 74, faces trial tomorrow in Tallahassee on charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy and solicitation related to the 2014 killing of Florida State law professor Dan Markel — investigators say evidence from past trials and recorded communications links her to the murder-for-hire plot. - ➤ The Florida education department told Leon County it will lose nearly a third of its afterschool funding, leaving a half-million-dollar gap—officials now work with the Children’s Services Council to help cover the shortfall for families. WFSU

- ➤ Tallahassee officials said residents south of Cemetery Road—including those in Woodville Acres, Woodville, Wakulla Station, River Plantation and Saint Marks—must boil water after a Saturday evening water system damage, and the advisory will lift when two days of clean water samples are confirmed.
