EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Florida educators and nonprofits faced a 30% funding cut in 40% of school districts that reduced afterschool services on the first day of classes. In Leon County, Brooke Brunner said the district must manage with half-a-million dollars less funding—while the Children's Services Council of Leon stepped in to cover the gap until the end of the school year.
