  • Tallahassee is weighing a major upgrade to its regional healthcare system, which may involve over $1.7 billion in investments and create more than 900 jobs — a move that aims to protect service for all residents, especially the vulnerable, as urged by Rev. SPORTS NEWS

  • FIU football head coach Willie Simmons expressed pride on social media on Dec. 27 after a 56-20 loss to UTSA on Dec. 26 in Dallas, noting that his team finished 7-6, their best record since 2018 (he is set to return to Quincy Sunday).  Tallahassee Democrat
  • Wiregrass Auction Group announced an estate sale scheduled for March 17, 2026, offering fans a chance to bid on Bobby Bowden memorabilia including handwritten notes, signed awards, and a personalized helmet (a nod to his storied legacy at Florida State).  Tallahassee Democrat
  • Florida State football will hire John Garrett to lead its restructured front office after Darrick Yray left for a similar role at UCLA.
