- ➤ Children’s Week Florida 2026 will run from Feb. 22 to 27 at the state capitol and nearby Tallahassee areas, welcoming thousands including legislators, children’s advocates, teachers & students to join the week-long celebration. WCTV

- ➤ FAMU-FSU College of Engineering Associate Professor Shreyas Balachandran got an Early Career Award of $875,000 over five years from the DOE (ARDAP Program) to build smaller particle accelerators that use new materials instead of heavy cooling. His work aims to make science tools more practical for labs, hospitals and factories. Florida State University
